Jamron Test Pressing

This was a pre-release only.
Only 5-10 copies exists ! This one was planed to be the 1st DXJ Bass Sampler on Jamarc/Pandisc Records. Has been refused because to uncommercial.

Etchings in Vinyl: JMC 9001 / FULLERSOUND

p.s. Versions of "Mommy, wot's a Bassonlian", "Bace Forest", "Conquest of the Planet Detroit" are different from the Jamron CD !
The Remix of Strikin' Back have never been released, even not on the Jamron CD

  • I must revise my old review, not 2 copies of this Test Pressing exist, as per James McCauley 5-10 copies have been pressed! It was him personally who had told me about the 2 pressings only. But he revised it, some of them have been throwen away and others have been given to local dj's! So definately less than 10, which makes this record still one of the rarest Electro records to get!!!!

  • Thanks to by encarnita, I got to hear track A1. It's pretty good stuff.

  • This looks like it would be fresh. I love the 86-88 DXJ/Maggotron shit! James McCauley at his best.

  • I got this copy from James Mc Cauley aka Dxj personally in the Past !
He confirmed that this record have been pressed around 10 x for the following
reason. We all know the Miami Bass/Electro Samplers that Dxj released in the 80's and beginning of the 90's on Jamarc/Pandisc Records,
This was planed to be the first, but the Guys at Pandisc accepted only "Bass it Baby Remix" and "Bass it up" ! He had pressed these Test Pressings by himself.
After the record have been refused he made it part of Jamron Records which was his own Label,
The Tracks "Mommy, wot's a Bassonlian", "Bace Forest" & "Conquest of the Planet Detroit" came out later on an unreleased Tracks CD called "Electro Jamz From The Vaults Of Jamron Records" in 2001. The versions are not the same as on the Vintage Record.
The track "Strikin Back Remix" have never been released, even not on CD, exists only on this record.
