  • How "Limited" is this (black edition)? I mean, one shouldn't state "Limited Edition" if there are more than 500, in my opinion.

  • I actually really like this LP. Got the standard black one because I prefer black vinyl generally, but I thought the use of melodies was pretty... challenging, in a way, especially given their fanbase. A very mature, and very well-thought-out record. Yes, the coloured vinyl gimmick is a bit silly, but the music itself is excellent.

  • Ultra crap album, not even worth the original €24.99 price asked by Nuclear Blast on pre-order.The multi color vinyl show is starting to get boring. I'm getting myself not caring for Relapse records releases anymore, after the typical CLEAR vinyl press exclusive for friends and employes bs .Pretty soon gonna get tired of NB multi press every week until pre-date.Looks like labels did not learnt from mistakes made in early 2000 and now decide to push releases revenues with this vinyl multi color crap.

  • (we) People should grow hand in hand with a band that evolves and matures over the years! Is unthinkable that Satyricon can remain the band of a guy who was just seventeen. When it came out "Until the light take us" Satyr has clearly diverged from black metal & that reality. We cannot remain eternally young kids & would not be fair in respect of the music. Is ascertained! Satyricon have reached the maximum expression with "Rebel Extravaganza" & a record like this is unrepeatable! Definitely recorded at the highest levels.Quality never neglected. From the compositional point record many times have awesome dynamics. This year only few have moved closer to the purity of the sound. The cut & paste in few songs are outrageous sometimes.Timing is too slow,a couple of songs lacks of many elements of arrangements, Listening the record few times anyway helps a lot... its not bad, its old school & is the final chapter of a wine maker that make wine in italy and do not sell in italy. A strange kind of way to do...

  • The only good thing on this record is production. The rest is utter rubbish, don't bother. I also have some strange feeling that people who bought records just to flip them will be sorry. €70 for this crap? Right...

  • I just finished listening to this album, and I thought it was no big deal. If you like Satyricon, you'll like this because it sounds just like all the rest of their stuff. I'm sure it must be badass at live shows though, but it's definitely their softest release yet. The album art is pretty cool, I'd buy it just for that... if it were about five dollars. I'll give it a few more listens though, if they just had better production values i'm sure it would've been amazing.

  • This is all just a waste of material. It's high time people stop supporting that kind of crap in music,so the companies take the message home and stuff it up their asses. And in the end,as it has happened before with similar multi coloured pressings, they don't even have value in the long run, cause the record ends up beeing pressed in a shitload of copies, with different colours, but they are so many and so expensive to buy from day one, that most people don't even bother to get.Plus if the meterial on the record is shitty no one will care to aquire even if its been pressed in only 500 copies..Take for example milestones like "Hvis lysset.." that hits sky high prices even though it is on a 2000 pressing, and compare it to the newest Burzum stuff, that is beeing sold for less that the inicial price tag after a few months.

  • A proof that vinyl is big bussines

  • Grey lim. 150 Nuclear BlastOrange ? Nuclear BlastWhite ? Nuclear BlastThat sucks!!!Honor to labels like Peaceville that print one color 1000 copy or more and never die hard and color limitation

  • & grey LP (Nuclear Blast exclusive)

  • There are 8 different versions of this album:- 100 transparent red (Omerch exclusive)- 100 clear (Omerch exclusive)- 100 black/red (Omerch exclusive)- 250 clear (CDon exclusive)- 250 red (TheGarden/Tiger exclusive)- 350 green (Nuclear Blast exclusive)- solid red/black (Platekompaniet exclusive)- regular black

  • still not as many as carcass surgical steel.

  • omerch got 100 copies each of the red, clear and mixed colours. so it is same press from Indie Recordings...

  • I think the Red, Clear and Mixed colours were 250, 250 and 275 respectively, as circlejerks mentions below, in total. It is just that some copies went to CDon, TheGarden, Platekompaniet and Tiger for distribution in Norway. 6 are the version in total together with Grey (NB, 150 copies), Green (NB, 350 copies) and the regular Black vinyls.

  • This is limited /250 copies folks. Got an email from Indierecordings and RED /250, CLEAR /250 and MIXED COLOURS /275
